Active Working Groups

Our working groups bring together experts from across member organizations to coordinate advocacy efforts, develop resources, and strengthen communication within the epilepsy community.

Advocacy Committee

The Advocacy Committee leads the ELC's efforts in federal advocacy. This includes leading the development of the ELC's policy agenda, monitoring and sharing federal sign-on opportunities, and developing resources and education to support ELC members in advocacy. The advocacy committee held a series of webinars in summer 2024 and most recently developed a toolkit to encourage ELC members to invite their respective Congressional representatives to join the Epilepsy Caucus.

Communications Committee

The Communications Committee manages the ELC's communication strategy and activities. This includes maintaining the ELC's website content, developing ELC newsletters, and communicating ELC's activities to members and external partners.
